T/hanks for sharing this video. Years ago I looked down while flying an ultralight and noticed my seatbelt wasn’t on. That is a scary feeling. Now my rule for myself and my passengers is put your seatbelt on first thing no matter what. Before I start my engine I say to my passenger seatbelt, they have to check that it is on by tugging on it and then they have to confirm by saying check, Then i say chinstrap, they tug on their chinstrap and say check, then I say throttle (I have rear throttle and instruct them where it needs to be prior to flight, they have to check that the their throttle is in the correct position. I am doing these checks along with my passenger. Prior to landing I do this again. I have caught myself and my passenger prior to the flight not having something the way it should be.
