582 Blue Head Replacement Temp Sensor
So I am having a hell of a time finding a replacement water temperature sensor for my Rotax 582 blue head. I have a 2007 Airborne XT-582 with the AmpTronic SkyDat GX2 EIS. I reached out to Leading Edge Airfoil and their technician told me that the sensor would be specific to my EIS system, and also that there is no standard Rotax part number for that sensor. He said that when you buy a 582 motor, that port between the sets of spark plugs in the cylinder head just comes with a plug in it. I’ve done quite a bit of internet research and the AmpTronic manual doesn’t list any specs for the sensor. Can anyone please point me in the right direction on this?

It is probably a “J” type sender and if that’s the case call 1-800-LA—ROTAX. They have them.
