i have a polini thor 250 engine on my baby rev. I normally use ethonol free 90 octane gas but when its not available i’ll get 93 octane with ethonol. what is 100LL Jet-A. is that something I can use. does that mean its 100 octane?

Highest octane ethanol free mogas available is recommended. High octane mogas with ethanol for occasional use is ok (others may say it’s fine). Use of 100LL is debatable, it does pose the possibility of fouling your plugs (it contains lead). JetA is refined kerosene for use in jet turbine engines, I’ve no idea what would happen if you used it, but it wouldn’t be good.

thank you – glad I didn’t try it – the engine manual says no lead.
