• Hangar Security Options

Hi All – looking for guidance on a hangar camera/security system with the big caveat that I don’t have a reliable WiFi connection at my hangar. I’m interested in setting up a camera – even one that records locally but ideally one that can transmit images to my phone would be ideal. Because I’m in a shared hangar I am growing concerned others may have been tampering with my trike. Thanks in advance for your input and experience.

T-mobile has an Arlo camera with a built in SIM card to work of their cellular system. It’s $20 per month plus the cost of the camera. Not sure if you also have to sign up for the Arlo subscription or if it has an SD card (like my at home Arlo system) where you don’t have to do the subscription. I haven’t tried the T-Mobile one yet but might try it in our RV

I have the Arlo camera from T-Mobile for my hanger. It works great, they have the subscription that allows you to see and save images and videos in the cloud, otherwise if you don’t use that, you can view it live anytime, but to see old images or videos, you have to access the card in it.
