Hi Brian. I use the regular GoPros and a Sony I hand hold as a passenger. I have seen awesome 360 footage but I hear it takes more time and a learning curve with the software. I might try the 360 someday but find myself challenge just to get non-360 footage out.

I haven’t used the mod. Glad it sounds like you figured it out. NFlight owners are very helpful too. Hope it all works out.

We like to use 3 different sites to get an over all picture. Of course weather can change over night so we always check in the morning.
Wind Alert I find often the most accurate when it comes to winds and gusts, though it is the most pessimistic forecast, so if Weather Channel.com and Weather.gov are both more positive, we usually plan for them, and sometimes Wind Alerts forecast will also get better overnight.
If 2 or all of those three sites look bad for weather, typically we find the conditions do stay bad.
Radar I find best on weather channel app with location accuracy turned on if watching for rain in the area. Very impressively accurate.
Though we have been seeing this summer that some of these storms blow through faster or dissipate before they get to us allowing us to wake up some mornings and wished we had gone to the airport to check first hand rather than deciding not to fly the night before

On Trike Action my biggest delay on my phone is loading the menus which all seem to take 6-8 seconds… on my computer photos and world map take about 8 seconds to load the first page and 4 seconds for additional pages.. this often gives me enough time to get distracted away while waiting…though once the menu is loaded scrolling is great .
I tend to stay more engaged when on my computer so I can multi task while the pages are loading. I used to have challenges with the Like button, but that seems to be fixed.
Can you see how many people visit the site each day? I often look several times daily without leaving a comment and imagine a lot of people do to.

T-mobile has an Arlo camera with a built in SIM card to work of their cellular system. It’s $20 per month plus the cost of the camera. Not sure if you also have to sign up for the Arlo subscription or if it has an SD card (like my at home Arlo system) where you don’t have to do the subscription. I haven’t tried the T-Mobile one yet but might try it in our RV

Here in the USA you can contact Mark Smith for FlyCom parts and helmet repairs. You may have to try him a few times before reaching him but he’s a real nice guy. Mark Smith (757) 966-9578. repairs@theglenmarkgroup.com

Hi Jim. There are so many Final Cut Pro (FCP) tutorials on You Tube but when I started 5 years ago Larry was able to simplify it to get me started quickly and have fun with it right away. The program is so extensive that it can seem very complicated and discouraging if you don’t get a simple version.
So if you can’t find a simplified tutorial be sure to reach out to Larry.
If you have more advanced complicated questions after that I’m happy to help if I can.

Hey Tim. Hopefully you saw Larry’s post that I use Final Cut Pro (FPC).
Thankfully Larry had a way of simplifying FCP to get me started quickly. Otherwise I don’t think I would be editing today!
If you are struggling with the overwhelming amount of YouTube videos out there, then let Larry condense it for you to get you started.
After that I used YouTube to answer most my other questions, the help menu in FCP and sometimes call Apple Support for things I can’t find.
Feel free to reach out to me if you have any questions about FCP or anything
There is so much to learn with this program I haven’t even come close to learning it all.

We got just enough rain to mix with the dirt and make it real grungy! LOL
