Hi. I plan to drive to AirVenture (Oshkosh) this year, 2022. I will drive from PA via “Trikefest” at Cushing Field in Newark IL, the weekend before AirVenture starts. I wonder if we should make more noise about Trikefest. The Cushing Field website doesn’t have much information, but says that one might contact Mike Hudetz for more info. All aviation accidents are sad to read about, especially this one for me, being a fatality trike accident in PA. The area where it happened, near Altoona, is a pretty area of the mid-state, and one where I have made many really memorable flights. There aren’t that many trike pilots in PA — let’s be safe out there. Thoughts to his family.
