Hey Roger, thanks for the detailed write-up, my wife and I just bought a brand-new Revolt with the Rival wing, I think the trike is set up just like yours but with a 5 blade prop. I’m a private pilot with tailwheel endorsement, and just got my WSC . We just left Zephyrhills after a week there of doing some flying and working on the aircraft with Larry & Amy. We are in our Class A motorhome with the trike in a trailer heading north looking for adventure. Our general plan is north through the Carolinas to see friends & relatives, then on up through New York and hopefully New England, then westward across the northern states over to see friends in Bigfork, MT (hoping to do some flying around Ferndale – Polson area), then meandering south through Colorado, Kansas, and Oklahoma. After that, westward again to hopefully winter in SoCal (relatives in Rancho Santa Fe). So, at some point in the latter portion of our journey (probably fall), we’d like to come through your area and do some aviating with you two. I don’t know when your prime flying season is, or if you have time for vagabond trike flyers, but we’d sure like to see the sights in your area. Let me know if that’s a possibility, or if you have recommendations about places to fly, trike pilots to meet up with, or events we shouldn’t miss. Jeff, we just finished another visit to Larry & Amy, I had not flown since I saw you in about Feb, so Larry refreshed me and I did some solo flying in the new Revolt. We are in the motorhome heading north, maybe later in the summer we can meet up someplace and do some flying. I’ve heard it’s really good around Polson, MT, we will be there perhaps late July early August. Stay in touch.
