That’s great Peter. Did you have to refuel at Calhoun or Rome? GE05 (our field) is only one more hop past Rome!

Thanks for sharing that! Will be added to the preflight checklist. To add just a bit to the discussion … make sure seatbelts are secure, helmet is on and fastened, and the bungee is removed from the control bar before starting. I think I picked that last bit up from Larry at some point.

Do you guys fly out of Murfreesboro (KMBT)? It’s only 105 miles for me. Was thinking it would make a fun day trip up and back.

I’ve been to Triple Tree twice and I know Ken has been there also. I’ve always thought it would be a great cross country for you guys. Seems the trikers make there own camp area.

Hey Roger, how many states do you want to cross😆. You and Diane are always welcome to our place in Georgia (airpark GE05). The Triple Tree fly-in (SC00 in NC) seems to be an impromptu trike fly-in amongst the other aircraft. Check out their website. Looks like Sept 19th – 25th 2022.

Sounds great. Maybe on a decent day, I’ll contact you and see if schedules line up. BTW, we have a fly-in at our field once or twice a year, and it would be great to have more trikers make it. Lot’s of photos on FB for BlueMountainAirpark. My cell is 706-233-2827.
