Flew in an AR-1 awhile back. Thought it was pretty cool. Very little stick shake like i’ve heard about. If I could afford both, I would probably have one. Don’t try to convince me otherwise or i might get steamy. lol

You could use a wheel chock, but i find it unnecessary. One tie to the front, one to the back, and side to side is all you need. i have trailered about two thousand miles with one trip alone being a thousand without an issue. I do like a wheel chock for a motorcycle but a trike is pretty stable. I do like the E Tracks over D rings as the tracks are infinitely adjustable.

Thank you Gino. I actually found a guy who is going to come to me and do my inspection.

I’ve noticed my ASI has crept up on the ground, but seems to be fairly accurate in the air when contrasted with GS. I am assuming when zeroing that it should be done in no wind, like in a hanger or on a no wind day? LOL. There is no such thing as a no wind day!

Can’t seem to post the link, but type in HEYTUR Pogies and pops right up. $19.99.

Pogies / bar mitts came in yesterday. 4mm neoprene with soft lining. Easy install with velcro. Easy to get hands in and out and have direct contact with the bar. I was even able to put my PTT inside.

I ordered some “Pogies” from Amazon. They are neopreme and also called paddle mitts. Kayakers use them in cold weather / water. They attach to themselves over the bar. They have not arrived yet, but I will update when I have had a chance to use them.

If so, I am unaware. I thought initially it was Falcon, but it is underwritten by Star.

Have you been to Evolution Trikes website? Lots of videos there showing how to fold and to trailer the Rev and Rev X. The Rev X is beefier and about twice the horsepower with the 582. Unlike the Rev, it is not Part 103 compliant and therefore must be registered. When folded, wings are self-supporting. When trailering, the ends are supported by straps from the wall or ceiling depending on the size of your trailer. I have towed my Rev X over 1,000 miles without issue. I have mine insured thru the EAA underwritten by Star.

Condition Inspection Done. Guy was like “Wow, this should be fairly easy.” He found it odd it had only one logbook. I guess in the certificated world they have one each for the frame, motor, and prop? Anyway, glad that is done.

I will be looking to come down later this summer.

The heated gear works great! Bar mitts or Pogies works good too. The neoprene is windproof and with the heated glove liners my hands were actually a little too warm on anything higher than level one. Good or bad is that once they are placed on the bar they do not move, so if you want to change your hand position you have to remove your hand from the mitt. Not that big a deal and i would suspect would be the same issue no matter what bar mitt you install. I believe they would be comfortable with any glove liner heated or not as they are windproof and warm alone. I have only flown once since installing due to weather and winds, plus it’s deer season here. lol. I will say i have neoprene gloves that i wear during cold weather on the boat and while hunting ducks that i find superior to insulated gloves.

Update. My heated gear finally arrived last week. This morning was the first time the wind hasn’t been blowing in the double digits for almost two weeks. It was 42 degrees this morning. Had the jacket, pants, and gloves set to medium and was quite toasty. Wired harness to battery, Jacket plugs into battery and pants and gloves plug into jacket. Each has its own controller. has controller for sock liners too, but I did not get those as of yet. Jacket not windproof, but I would think with something windproof over it, should be good to go at least down to freezing. I have also ordered some pogies, which are neoprene bar mitts. Will see how those work out.
