As usual, I don’t understand. Undoing? I also don’t know when to secure the strings to the battens. Secure each one as you put them in or after they are all in? Or half?
I have had great difficulty pulling the haul back. Sometimes needed help.
So the last two things are sprogs (which first) and then tip battens.

MemberJune 1, 2024 at 7:46 pm in reply to: Summer Travel, RV+Trike+Dogs, North Carolina, New York, Illinois, Suggestions?Chris. I have the same plan. I have a new to me RV and ordered a trailer. I am going to try to find “trikesters” with Larry’s help and visit them to see the areas they fly. If the trailer is done soon enough to set up and get to IL for the trike fest and then Oshkosh that is my first plan.

The side to side is no issue for a Revolt in a 8.5′ trailer with low deck and wheel wells inside. 7′, same as footprint. Like a bike, almost all forces are forward. The hardest part for our bikes over the years is the rear wheels hopping left and right. So now we use two rear down-and-back straps and one perpindicular and wrapped a couple times around the tire so it cannot move R>L>R. Revolt would not have that issue.
I still don’t know the secret to posting a pic inside a thread. Pretty sure it is well hidden in plain sight. Internet artwork……..designers with passion………ERK!
So I was just wondering since I have smaller removable mcy chocks and cannot find 8″rs. Roll it into the cage and strap it down and forward right there and be done. Fewer total bolts holding it though. But I can do it with straps going hither and yon.

OK. I added it to photos. I have seen pics in posts. Another secret here?

“ASI reading 20 when stopped is the ASI menu “zero air speed””
I have no idea what that means. Easily confused as you know.

I can’t believe it has been 1yr, 5mo since I was here. All other forums I do have email notifications. Does this one? I have difficulty navigating it.
It is foreflight. Maybe I figured that out in the meantime. Not sure if I did and forgot it agian or what.

Rivnuts. Never heard of them. Neato. Could be sold as RV nuts as I can see how they would be nice if one could actually find the studs.

I found a place on my account and when I drag and drop a .jpg file it’s yellow circle completes and then it says upload failed. When I mouse over it says connections with server interrupted. Network works on multiple other sites. ?
If I do upload a pic how do I put it in a post?

Paul, Nice setup. I can’t post a pic so I put a pic in the photos section.
I see you have regular rubber wheel chocks. I do not mean those. I mean the kind like I have for our motorcycles. https://www.pingelonline.com/pc_combined_results.asp?search_cat=searchexact~pcpcm.parent_pc_id~8B2303CAFDD94A9FBFF86B666A64E350&pc_id=8B2303CAFDD94A9FBFF86B666A64E350
These are sized for tire width. Similar to what I can almost see on your bike front tire. It captures the whole wheel and if secured forward and downward renders the wheel immovable. We through-bolted the mount brackets. But the max they make is 6.5″ wide. Need 8″ for my Revolt. I have only welded a couple of times in my life and cannot make them for myself.
