  • I need to sell a toyhauler so I have room to buy an enclosed trailer. A bit ago when i was checking on buying an enclosed trailer that met my specifications it was going to take a year to get it. lucky for us all we now have trikeaction.com to help us all contact each other and plan stuff like this.

Well I sure hope you come fly with us in Arizona! We have a Revolt (larson adventures) youtube. Larry has my contact info and if you call him he will give it to you. You are going to love your trike! I fly year round out here and love both summer and winter flying. Looking forward to your call! Text me first though, I won’t answer my phone unless i recognize the number. Roger and Diane Larson.

I do love the thought of an electric trike. First i want to say that i have a ton of battery operated tools and made some electric bicycles about 12 years ago. The Fuel brushless tools are so dependable. As technology has increased and batteries keep getting better the electric motors will be the way to go. So with that being said, most of my flying is long distance so I would have to say i would be concerned with run time. I do tons of exploring with my trike (REVOLT) and often fly 2.5 hours before I land, My bladder limits me, not my trike. I fly a ton in the mountains and use ridge lift all I can. I love using free energy and love the thermals. A light trike flying in the thermals would be a kick. If i had a really light electric trike I could see myself doing all kinds of stuff with it. I love to fly low and I would probably use it to surf the ridge lift and thermals in Arizona. I haven’t flown in three days and I need to get out there and fly. 🙂 Batteries are my main concern for an electric trike. I have had lifepo4 failures and I am not that much up on the latest batteries. Gosh, it feels like forever since i flew last. 🙂 ha ha.

  • That does sound fun!

One day, Diane told me she had a headache, I told her it is all in your head. She didn’t like that too much. When we hit good turbulance or abrupt changes in wind direction, I tell her it is just air. She doesn’t like that too much either. 🙂 Seriously though, We have had some pretty good winds hit us also. I hit what i believe was a wind shear one day at about 400Ft agl, it dropped me to about 200 feet agl in a few seconds. it wasn’t stormy that day just some wind that was normal for the airport we fly out of. I did not push out on the Bar when it hit me. That would be the wrong thing to do.

Hey Sydney Australia! It is so cool to have a forum to converse with Trike Pilots from all over the world. Motorkite Dreaming (Australian show with two trikes) is what got me into trikes. I was home sick one day and thought they looked fun. I wonder what ever happened to those guys that did that show?

Stewart I am glad your getting her fixed. I watch all of your videos and enjoy the views down under.

  • Chris I got your number! Fun times ahead. Roger

  • Hi Kip. We haven’t flown there. Would love to go up there and do some filming! That would be great if you can go fly with Larry. That whole experience is a blast and really worth the fun and learning experience. Thanks for your support for our videos. They are a lot of fun to do and it makes it more fun to have people along for the ride!. Trikes attract a lot of nice, fun and adventure type people.

  • Have you been flying Jeff?
