    I figured that someone else would have mentioned this, but maybe it’s not known as I thought is was. Anyway, just get off the base bar and fly the uprights. Completely different feel and you use the much larger muscles of you back and chest vs smallish muscles in your upper arms and shoulders.

    We had a little sit down at my airport years ago. And the consensus was for the slow flying aircraft (me) to do a mid field crossover, enter downwind (close to the runway) , and do a base and final. I callout on the radio after entering downwind that I’m doing a base AND final. What I actually perform is a descending 180, land and get off the runway. It seems to make them happy…

    I had a similar problem years ago with a Rotax 447 – the engine didn’t quit but at times it would stumble. The problem was caused by a broken wire that entered the potted ignition box. While the copper in the wire was completely severed, the wire’s insulation was intact, allowing the intermittent contact. Look over your wiring paying particular attention to anywhere the wiring goes from a unsupported position to a fixed/bound position.

    The grey portion are 3D printed TPU and the rest are various hang glider parts from years ago.
